Our Story

There is a particular kind of home that stays with you.

It is not the biggest house on the street. It is not the most photographed. It is the home where the backyard had a story. Where the firepit was lit on the night something important was decided. Where the table held more than meals. Where the umbrella shaded conversations that shaped a family.

The Backyard Legacy began with the belief that the spaces around a home deserve the same consideration as the rooms within it. Today, that philosophy extends across outdoor living, interiors, wellness, and the home as a whole.

We started this collection because we kept noticing the same thing. Most outdoor furniture is built to last one season. Maybe two. It is sold cheaply, replaced often, and forgotten the moment it goes to the curb. There is a different way to do this.

Across the United States, there are still workshops where craftsmen build outdoor pieces the way their parents and grandparents did. Wrought iron bent by hand. Wicker woven over aluminium that will not rust for decades. Teak finished with oils that let it weather into silver grey character. These pieces are not built for a season. They are built for the long evenings still ahead of you.

That is how we began. Today, we bring the same care to every part of the home we help shape.

Every product in The Backyard Legacy collection is chosen for one reason. It has to be the kind of thing your children remember: the chair your daughter sits in when she comes home from college, the table your friends gather around every summer, the wellness space that makes room for a quiet night in.

We are not the cheapest. We were never going to be. The pieces we carry are built to outlast trends, weather, and time itself. They cost more because they last longer than three of the alternatives combined. We think that is worth saying clearly.

When you buy from us, you are choosing what your home will feel like for the next twenty years—inside and out.

Welcome to The Backyard Legacy.
