Lead times, coverage, and what to expect on the day.
Lead times run from the date your order is confirmed and depend on the piece. Made-to-order furniture and structures are typically 2–12 weeks. Our outdoor cedar saunas (Auris) ship in 15–65 business days; our infrared saunas (Lumin) and the Frost cold plunge ship in 15–30 business days. Your confirmed lead time will be included in your order confirmation email.
White-glove delivery is offered on select furniture and structure collections. Where it applies, your product arrives with a specialist two-person team, not a standard courier: they deliver to your specified location (backyard, deck, or garage) and assist with unpacking and placement. All other orders ship via complimentary insured freight to the contiguous 48 states. For large items such as saunas and shade structures, the team will confirm access requirements with you in advance.

Yes. Professional sauna installation is available as an optional add-on at a flat $4,000, anywhere in the contiguous U.S. and Canada. Let us know when you place your order and we’ll coordinate scheduling with your delivery.
Make sure there is clear access to your chosen location, and measure gateways, paths, and doorways for larger pieces. An adult (18+) must be present to receive and sign for the delivery. If access is tight or unusual, tell us in advance so we can plan the safest approach.
Inspect your delivery before you sign. Note any damage — even to the packaging — on the delivery receipt, photograph it, and email hello@thebackyardlegacy.com within 48 hours. We will arrange repair, replacement parts, or a full replacement at no cost to you. Please keep all packaging until the claim is resolved.
