Our furniture and structures are made to outlive a single owner, and our warranty reflects that. Our sauna and cold-plunge collection carries dedicated manufacturer warranties, summarized in Section 03. Every piece ships with a warranty card detailing exact coverage; what follows is a plain-language summary.

Most claims resolve through a replacement part shipped to you. We don’t ask customers to crate up heavy items and ship them back.
Terms in Detail
What’s covered, what isn’t, and how to make a claim.
Our lifetime structural warranty applies to our made-to-order furniture and structures, covering their primary load-bearing components (frames, structural welds, concrete castings, and primary support structures) against defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. This warranty applies for the life of the product and is transferable to a subsequent owner at the same address. Our sauna and cold-plunge collection carries separate manufacturer terms — see Section 03.
Surface finishes, upholstery and cushion fabric, moving parts and hinges, burner components and ignition systems, and consumable items are covered by separate component-level warranties ranging from one to five years, as detailed in your product warranty card. Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, modification, or acts of nature is not covered. Normal weathering of natural materials such as wood and concrete is expected and is not a defect.
Email hello@thebackyardlegacy.com with your order number, a description of the issue, and photographs if applicable. We will respond within two business days with the next steps. Most structural claims are resolved through direct replacement of the affected component; we do not ask customers to arrange the return shipment of large or heavy items.

Each sauna and cold plunge is covered by a manufacturer warranty against defects in materials and workmanship: five years on our Auris outdoor cedar saunas, and one year on our Lumin infrared saunas and the Frost cold plunge. These warranties cover defects only and are non-transferable.
These warranties exclude normal wear and tear, improper installation, misuse, unauthorized repairs, commercial use (unless specified), and damage from external factors such as weather, fire, or pests. Because saunas and cold plunges are used outdoors, we recommend following the manufacturer’s care and covering guidance to protect your investment.
Inspect your order on delivery and report any defective or damaged item within seven days to hello@thebackyardlegacy.com with your order number and photographs or video of the issue. Approved claims are resolved by repair, replacement parts, or a full replacement; where a refund applies, it is processed within 30 days. All sales are final for non-defective items.
