Where we ship and delivery charges. Delivery eligibility, service and charges depend on the item, destination and site access. Complimentary insured freight to the contiguous 48 United States applies only where expressly listed for your item or written quote. Otherwise freight is quoted for your ZIP code. Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and Canada require a written delivery quote before purchase. We do not currently ship elsewhere internationally. Modular homes use project-specific transport allowances and contracted delivery scope.
Dispatch, transit and installation. The estimate on each product page applies to the stated preparation, production or dispatch stage. Dispatch is when an item leaves its shipping origin; transit and installation are separate and additional. An estimate is not a guaranteed arrival date. Your selected configuration, current availability and delivery address determine the applicable schedule.
Product and project timing. Auris and Lumin sauna dispatch is currently estimated at 12–15 business days. Sweaty Yeti factory build time is estimated at 60–90 days; dispatch, transit and on-site installation are separate. Modular homes require feasibility, approvals, site readiness and a production schedule agreed in the written quote and contract.
Freight delivery. Large items, including pergolas, hot tubs, outdoor kitchens, saunas and fire pits, are delivered by freight carrier. Freight deliveries are kerbside unless otherwise stated, meaning the carrier delivers to the nearest accessible point outside your property. White glove and inside delivery are available on select collections and are confirmed before purchase. For larger pieces, we will contact you before dispatch to confirm site access and a delivery contact.
Inspecting your delivery. Please inspect your delivery carefully while the delivery team is present and note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before they leave. Then contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@thebackyardlegacy.com with your order number and photographs. See our Return and Refund Policy for how damaged or defective items are resolved.
Installation and additional services. Freight delivery does not automatically include unloading equipment, room placement, unpacking, assembly, wall hanging or installation. These services apply only where expressly included in your item terms or written quote; otherwise arrange them separately. Auris sauna professional installation is an optional $4,000 add-on when selected. Gas, water and electrical connections, foundations, permits and site work must each have an agreed responsible party and scope; local trades may be needed. For modular homes, the contract identifies transport, crane/set services, site readiness, included allowances and additional costs.
Order confirmation and tracking. You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after purchase, and a shipping notification with tracking information once your order has dispatched from the maker. If you cannot find your tracking details, email us with your order number and we will send an update.
Delays. Occasionally, supply chain or logistics factors outside our control may affect delivery timelines. We will always communicate proactively if your order is affected.
