Where we ship. Every order includes complimentary insured freight to the 48 contiguous United States. Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico ship free on orders under $4,000, and for a flat $1,000 freight fee on orders of $4,000 or more, shown at checkout. Canada is available on request: contact us before ordering and we will confirm options and freight cost for your location. We do not currently ship elsewhere internationally.
Shipping timelines. Because our products are sourced from specialist US manufacturers and shipped directly from their facilities, lead times vary by product and supplier. Estimated delivery windows are shown on each product page. Most orders ship within 5–15 business days of order confirmation, with delivery typically following within 7–21 business days depending on your location and the product category. End to end, most orders arrive within 2–12 weeks of confirmation.
Made-to-order exceptions. Some wellness products run longer than the standard window. Our Orivon Wellness saunas (Auris and Lumin) ship in 12–15 business days, and the Frost cold plunge ships in 15–30 business days. Sweaty Yeti saunas and studios are built to order and ship in 60 to 90 days. Your confirmed lead time is stated on the product page and repeated in your order confirmation email.
Freight delivery. Large items, including pergolas, hot tubs, outdoor kitchens, saunas and fire pits, are delivered by freight carrier. Freight deliveries are kerbside unless otherwise stated, meaning the carrier delivers to the nearest accessible point outside your property. White glove and inside delivery are available on select collections and are confirmed before purchase. For larger pieces, we will contact you before dispatch to confirm site access and a delivery contact.
Inspecting your delivery. Please inspect your delivery carefully while the delivery team is present and note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before they leave. Then contact us within 7 days of delivery at hello@thebackyardlegacy.com with your order number and photographs. See our Return and Refund Policy for how damaged or defective items are resolved.
Installation. Delivery does not include installation, with one exception: professional installation is available for our Orivon Wellness saunas as a flat $4,000 add-on. For all other products, gas line connections for fire features and electrical work require a licensed contractor, arranged separately. We are happy to advise on what your installer will need.
Order confirmation and tracking. You will receive an order confirmation email immediately after purchase, and a shipping notification with tracking information once your order has dispatched from the maker. If you cannot find your tracking details, email us with your order number and we will send an update.
Delays. Occasionally, supply chain or logistics factors outside our control may affect delivery timelines. We will always communicate proactively if your order is affected.
