Every propane fire pit has the same problem: the tank. The Beton 72×28″ Rectangle Fire Pit, GFRC Concrete, Propane solves it by hiding a standard 20 lb tank in a compartment beneath the fire pit itself, behind a removable door.

Worried about swapping tanks? That removable door gives easy access without exposing plumbing or hardware. The mechanics stay invisible even during the one job that usually reveals them.

Worried about concrete outdoors? This is hand-cast GFRC, engineered for outdoor durability and a refined finish rather than poured concrete that stains and cracks.

Six feet long by 28 inches wide in a long, low-profile rectangular silhouette, sculptural form with the practical part designed out of sight. Push button ignition standard; the propane tank is sold separately.

The 72" x 28" Rectangle Beton Fire Pit combines sculptural form with practical innovation: a long low-profile rectangular silhouette with a hidden compartment that conceals a standard 20 lb propane tank beneath the fire pit itself. A removable door provides easy access for tank swaps without exposing plumbing or hardware.

Expertly crafted from Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete (GFRC), each piece is hand-cast by skilled artisans. Ideal for long dining patios or lounge areas where a round fire pit would feel undersized. The rectangular proportions create a natural divider between seating groups.

Handcrafted nature means each piece has unique texture and variation. CSA certified.

Product maintenance

Cover your fire pit when not in use to protect the burner and media from rain and debris. Clean the burner pan and replace lava rock or fire glass annually or when visibly soiled. Inspect the gas connection and burner ports at the start of each season. GFRC and concrete surfaces can be sealed every 2 to 3 years with a concrete sealer. Copper surfaces will naturally patina, which is normal and protective.
