Product maintenance
Cedar and timber pergolas should be cleaned annually with mild soap and water. Apply a UV-resistant timber oil or stain every 2–3 years. Inspect hardware annually and tighten any loose fasteners. Aluminium pergolas require only an annual wash with mild soap; no sealing or staining required. Motorised louvered systems should have motor units inspected by a qualified technician every 3 years.
